Please review the list of insurance carriers shown below to see if your insurance is accepted.
Some plans do not provide mental health benefits or do not provide coverage in
Delaware, such as a Maryland or Philadelphia HMO plan.
Many insurance cards may indicate they are managed by one of the accepted
companies, but may not be accepted by this practice. These cards are normally
multi-colored and have several different boxes on the front of the card. An
example is Maestro Health that is managed by Cigna or
Meritain Health that is managed
by Aetna.
If your insurance is not accepted, you may pay for your treatment and work with your insurance company to get reimbursed.
In general, most PPO (preferred provider organization) plans are accepted and offer coverage outside of your local area. The insurance card will have a picture of suitcase with a PPO in it in the lower right corner.
HMO plans are not PPO plans. Only HMO plans in Delaware are accepted.
